Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped or garlic puree
396 g tin of chopped tomatoes
black pepper
290g tin of clams in brine ( or mussels, prawns, tuna ...)
mixed herbs or chopped parsley
pasta (enough for 2 people e.g. 120 to 200g)
Heat the oil and fry garlic gently, stir in the tomatoes, add plenty of black pepper and mixed herbs, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes. Then add the clams (or mussels, prawns, tuna ....) and stir together gently until heated through. Remove from heat.
Meanwhile bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and cook until "al dente". (Generally this will take approx. 10 minutes, check packet instructions for exact cooking time). Drain pasta, return to the pan and stir in the warmed sauce.
