The RDM203 is a basic marine LPG gas alarm with remote rensor head designed to be hard wired into the boats supply.

The control panel has a very short (0.3m) of power cable attached. The RDM203 gas alarm is supplied with 3m sensor cable has a plug on the end measuring 16mm, making it for major holes to be drilled during installation. The control comes with a mounted plate and can only be surface mounted.

The RDM 203 gas alarm was by far the cheapest tested by PBO in March 2006 but its detection performance was not compromised by this. Its power consumption was by far the highest at 163mA and the RDM203 gas alarm is designed to operate on 12v DC. For performance, where electrical consumption and aesthetics are not important, the RDM203 gas alarm is worth considering.
