Purchase marine gas regulators from the Calor Marine Shop
Should be attached to the boat, not the cylinder
To reduce the possibility of liquefied gas getting passed the regulator and in to the low pressure system. To make changing gases on an extended voyage much safer.
Should be within 1 metre of the cylinders
Flexible hoses should be kept to a minimum.
Should be in the locker
High pressure system should be kept in locker box to reduce the potential risk cause by possible leakage.
Should be rigidly secured
To prevent damage to regulators and other equipment, to prevent the liquefied gas entering the regulator and pipework
Should be of the current size & operating pressure

Should not be manually adjustable
Generally adjustable regulators are of the high pressure type and are not suitable.
